After garnering my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and became a registered nurse, I have worked as a staff nurse in a medical and surgical ward for 2 months and was transferred to the emergency room, as my point of interest, which I stayed for 4 years on the same institution. My task as an emergency room staff nurse involves triaging, admitting, assessing, intervening and evaluating medical conditions on all patient age-groups and all medical fields with varying classes of acuity that needs quality medical and emergency nursing care. With the constant stress and pressure in the department, I have hone my nursing knowledge and skills in working with multi-disciplinary team skills to provide efficient nursing care to patients and their family, as well as enhanced my leadership skills in training new nurses and overseeing the unit as senior nurse.

As my years in the institution continued, I have been appointed as the document controller, apart from my responsibility being an emergency room nurse, to ensure that all documents conform to the standards set by the institution. Also become a part of the internal quality audit team to conduct an assessment on different hospital department to ensure that quality system is maintained and facilitate improvements to enhance client satisfaction.
