Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, Lyell McEwin Hospital - Emergency Department - Paediatric Specific
Indicative Total Remuneration: $87,817 - $112,041 p.a. (pro-rata) – RN/M2C – Temp P/T - 32 hours per week, up to 29 January 2021
A flexible and supported role suited to an experienced Paediatric Clinical Nurse, this is a brilliant opportunity for autonomous and collaborative work with an interesting casemix, dealing with Paediatric patients within the Emergency Department. Within a friendly and close-knit working environment, you will provide direct person centred nursing/midwifery care and individual case management to patients on a shift by shift basis in the Emergency Department with increasing autonomy over time. You will assess individual patient needs, plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies, as well as provide health promotion and education, to patients or groups and carers to improve the health outcomes of individual. In addition, you will participate in evaluative research activities within the practice setting.
Registered as a Nurse and or Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. To be considered, you will bring demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice. Your well developed communication and interpersonal skills will be reflected in your ability to work with a broad range of people from all ages, cultures and backgrounds. A proven problem solver, you will possess effective conflict resolution and negotiation skills. In this integral role, you will enjoy working within a multidisciplinary setting and utilising your strengths.
