Indicative Total Remuneration: $107,953 - $112,778 p.a. - Ongoing Full Time Position - RN/RM3
You will provide clinical and consultancy services that support the recovery of mental health consumers across community, acute and rehabilitation service settings in the Murray Mallee community. You will also provide clinical nursing expertise to contribute to the improvement of high quality, safe mental health services in the region. Primarily providing expert mental health nursing care, you will select and implement different therapeutic interventions, provide individual case management to a defined population of consumers, and evaluate consumer progress. You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. You will also hold a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent. Demonstrating expertise in mental health nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards of practice, you will be confident in leading and promoting consumer engagement initiatives. You will possess strong leadership abilities and a commitment to fostering a workplace environment that develops staff potential. Your sound communication and interpersonal skills will equip you to deal appropriately with consumers, carers and families where there are multiple complexities, diverse cultural backgrounds and consumer expectations.
