About the Opportunity
Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation is currently looking for a full-time Registered Nurse to join their team in remote NT as part of their new MECSH (Maternal and Early Childhood Sustained Home-visiting) program.
The MECSH Program is a structured program of sustained nurse home-visiting for families at risk of poorer maternal and child health and development outcomes. It was developed as an effective intervention for vulnerable and at‐risk mothers living in areas of socio‐economic disadvantage.
Based in Barunga and also supporting several nearby communities (Manyallaluk, Mataranka, and Jilkminggan) you will be supporting the health and development of children and families, identifying problems early in the child's development, offering general advice and pursuing opportunities for health promotion or prevention for a case load of up to 30 clients.
