We have an exciting opportunity for Caseload Midwives to join our Midwifery Group Practice based at Ceduna District Health Service. Caseload Midwives practice autonomously within a multidisciplinary team to provide midwifery continuity of care in a remote health service setting. The Caseload Midwife provides direct clinical care to maternity consumers as well as clinical support and education to other team members.
The Caseload Midwife, in collaboration with Clinical Midwives and the Midwifery Unit Manager, coordinates and provides continuity of midwifery care to a defined caseload of women, using primary health care principles and a problem-solving approach across the childbirth continuum.
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, or Registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
