Joining the nursing Casual Pool, you will provide nursing care within various health services across the Yorke and Northern Region of South Australia. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will assist with the provision of professional high quality aged care consumer and patient care. Practice at this level is from novice to proficient Enrolled Nurse practice. The core focus of your role will involve making decisions and taking initiative to plan and complete nursing care tasks within your scope of practice and under supervision. You will display knowledge and skill in assessment, care and routine procedures for area of practice. With the ability to work independently, you will contribute to own professional development, seek learning opportunities and maintain own professional development portfolio of learning and experience. Enrolled as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. A resourceful and innovative individual, you will have experience, within the boundaries of your education and skill preparation, in the provision of nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice. Also required are excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, which will allow you to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
