Using your clinical knowledge and nursing experience, you will provide support services to the Director of Nursing & Midwifery and acute Nurse Unit Manager and manage the nursing and carer practice and services within the Loxton Aged Care. This will encompass areas such as staffing methodologies, recruitment and selection, human resource management, financial administration, ACFI management, resident admissions, resource management, accreditation and risk management processes and information systems management. Utilising available information systems to inform decision making, evaluate outcomes and convey information to staff, you will participate in changing nursing processes and practices in accordance with emerging needs, evaluation results and imminent problems. Accepting accountability for the outcomes of nursing management practices, you will work to address inconsistencies between practice and policy and contribute to a safe and positive work culture in the interest of resident outcomes.
Being part of Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network means you will be supported both personally and professionally, can take advantage of education and training opportunities, and be part of an inter-professional approach to holistic health care.
You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated experience in management and leadership roles, including prior experience in project management within an aged care setting, you will have an ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential.
