Joining the Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS) team in Ceduna, you will provide proficient, person-centred, clinical nursing care to clients. Assessing client needs, you will plan, implement and coordinate proficient clinical care for children and their families using evidence-based practice. This will involve working collaboratively with the client, their family, CaFHS staff and external providers to achieve best client outcomes. You will participate in and encourage a positive and safe work environment and ensure that services are delivered in a culturally sensitive manner to meet the needs of clients and their families.
CaFHS is a community-based, state-wide primary health programme for children and their families to improve the health and wellbeing of children 0-5 years. You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated competence in primary health care nursing in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice, you will have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. You will work well within a multidisciplinary team, and be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a clinical setting. Experience in relating to people from a diverse range of cultural and social backgrounds will hold you in good stead for this role.
