You will be joining a great team environment in the fabulous location of Jamestown. You will contribute to the provision of high quality person-centred nursing care aimed at improving patient health outcomes. Assessing individual patient needs, you will utilise your experience and/or further study to plan, implement or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options across the health service. You will support staff who are developing from competent to proficient practitioners.
Your role accepts accountability for own practice standards, activities delegated to others and the guidance and development of less experienced staff.
You will provide support to the Nursing/Midwifery Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent in the leadership of nurses/midwives in the ward/unit/service.

Your role assists the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent in undertaking ward/unit/service management responsibilities, e.g. Performance management processes, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation and attendance management; financial and supplies planning and monitoring.
