In this pivotal leadership role, you will be accountable to the Chief Executive Officer for providing strategic, transformational and innovative leadership, governance, and direction for the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN).
The focus of this component of the role is to deliver the highest quality of care. This will be achieved through development and implementation of frameworks and systems within which Nursing/Midwifery employees practice, and by monitoring and evaluating clinical practice and service delivery standards. Determining the linkages between primary, secondary and tertiary care, you will develop models of Nursing and Midwifery which support movement toward provision of integrated health care services, in particular acute, aged, mental health and community health.
As part of your role, you will also provide a key support role for the Chief Executive Officer, Eyre and Far North by ensuring the operational services function as a highly effective component of the organisation producing a high degree of confidence in the service delivery. As an integral member of the EFNLHN leadership team, you will be charged with responsibility of setting the clinical direction and achieving the goals of EFNLHN.
You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated experience in management including personnel, finance and strategic planning and leadership, you will have bring the ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential. Your effective leadership skills, including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation, will hold you in good stead for this role.
