In a highly rewarding role as a Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will work within a nursing model established to support client centred care and provide direct nursing/midwifery care and individual case management to patients on a shift by shift basis. To be a successful candidate, you must be registered as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practising certificate. With demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice, you will possess sound knowledge and understanding of the role of the Registered General Nurse/Midwife within a healthcare setting. Effective communication skills are essential, including well developed problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. A team player who can work cohesively within a multidisciplinary team environment, you will bring a demonstrated commitment to providing consumer/client and centred care. In addition, you will be well organised with good time management skills, able to prioritise workload.
