With the exciting opportunity to work across regional South Australia where you will make a difference, you will be responsible for providing proficient, person centered, clinical nursing/midwifery care and individual case management to patients in a community setting. Working with a high level of autonomy with the ability to broaden skill base across many modalities of care, you will promote continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with other AN/MUMs and the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager within the Local Health Network. You will assist and support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in management, clinical, and education activities, and participate in clinical teaching, overseeing learning experiences, and goal setting for students, new staff and staff with less experience. Furthermore, you will participate in clinical auditing, clinical trials and/or evaluative research.
Registered as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. It is essential that you are an Authorised Immunisation Nurse who has completed training through the National Immunisation Program. With notable post registration experience, you will bring demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice. You will have exceptional communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, reflecting the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Good organisation skills are required, and you will be able to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision. In addition, you will have the ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the healthcare setting.
