Joining the Nurse/Midwife candidate pool, you will contribute to the delivery of professional, high quality nursing or midwifery care aimed at improving patient health outcomes at the Clare Hospital. A combination of full-time, part-time and casual positions are available for persons willing to work over 7 days and inclusive of night duty. Enjoying excellent team support and exposure to a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, you will plan, implement and coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options. You will also provide health education, counselling and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups. It is expected that you will provide support and guidance to newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses and other workers providing basic nursing care. This is an excellent career opportunity to work in regional facility in Yorke & Northern LHN.

You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse, Nurse/Midwife or Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated experience in providing person-centred nursing and/or midwifery, you will have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. With the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.
