Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with providing high quality nursing care aimed at improving patient health outcomes. Maintaining cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the health care team, you will implement appropriate nursing care and assist with general and specialised procedures from nursing care plans. You will plan and prioritise your own work program to achieve defined outcomes and exercise judgment when it is required to solve problems arising in your work area. You will provide verbal and documented information within your scope of practice to patients, other health care team members, and members of the public, and contribute to your professional expertise by maintaining ongoing personal professional development and continuing education.
