Position

We are seeking both junior and senior self-motivated and innovative Registered and Clinical Nurses looking to join a dynamic and supportive critical care team at Royal Adelaide Hospital. You will be supported within a team and provided with learning and development opportunities designed to meet individual and unit role needs. Utilising your excellent communication skills and the ability to provide high quality nursing care, you will be responsible for assisting with the provision of person-centred care within the Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. With the opportunity to use a variety of skills, your duties will involve assessing patients’ needs, planning, implementing and coordinating appropriate service delivery options and communicating changes in condition and care, in addition to monitoring client care plans and participating in clinical auditing and evaluative research to ensure appropriate patient care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis. 

You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated competence in critical care nursing in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice, you will have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. With the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a critical care setting.
