You will provide mental health services across a variety of health service settings within the Inner North community. Providing proficient, person-centred, clinical care and individual case management to consumers, you will monitor consumer care plans to ensure appropriate care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis. Working within a multidisciplinary primary health care setting, you will assess consumers, select and implement different therapeutic interventions and support programs, and evaluate progress. You will also participate in clinical teaching, overseeing learning experiences and goal setting for students, new staff and staff with less experience. For appointment at the AHP2 level, you will hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification and registration with the appropriate Australian board. You will have the clinical competence and experience to provide professional services to client groups in circumstances requiring increasingly complex practice skills. For appointment at the RN/M2C level, you must be registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practising certificate and a relevant postgraduate qualification in Mental Health practice. You will have direct experience in mental health nursing practice, combined with sound knowledge of contemporary mental health nursing and health care issues.
