The position is responsible for leading, influencing and supporting the ongoing design and build of the EMR Program to ensure the solution is fit for multi-disciplinary and multi-site/service application. The Adoption Manager will use specific subject matter expertise and knowledge to actively engage stakeholders and ensure successful adoption of the EMR solution, and is accountable for taking a clinical leadership role in the EMR Program.
The role is responsible for the provision of training activities and reviewing existing practice and workflows to assist with implementation of the system. The incumbent facilitates and reinforces clear and early communication of relevant timeframes and expectations in relation to adoption across their particular clinical or non-clinical professional community. The position is also responsible for providing advice regarding the development or amendment of SA Health operational policies to support new EMR related processes and work practices.
