Joining a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team, this is a brilliant opportunity to gain a diversity of experience and extend your skills set in this challenging yet rewarding role as a Mental Health Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse. A chance for you to utilise the full extent of your nursing abilities, you will provide direct nursing care and individual case management to patients on a shift by shift basis in a defined clinical area. The core focus of your role will involve assessing individual patient needs, planning and implementing or coordinating appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options, as well as providing education, counselling and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups. Furthermore, your duties will involve contributing to patient safety, risk minimisation and safe work activities within the practice setting.

Registered as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. A first rate professional, you will have demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice. You will be friendly, approachable with a flexible nature, with sound knowledge and understanding of the role of the Registered Nurse within a healthcare setting. Able to work collaboratively with consumers, carers, other agencies and community services, you will possess effective written and verbal communication skills, along with good organisation and time management skills. The ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the healthcare setting will also be integral to your success in this role. Multiple full time, part time positions are available.
