Working under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will accept accountability for own standards of nursing care, including planning and prioritising own work program to achieve defined outcomes. Your duties will also include contributing to quality improvement, providing assistance to other members of the health care team, and contributing to research as appropriate.

To be successful in this role, you must be enrolled as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practising certificate. In order to administer medicines, you must have completed an approved program of study which includes an administration of medicine.  You will have experience, within the boundaries of your education and skill preparation, in the provision of nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice. You will possess an exceptional work ethic along with effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work cohesively within a team environment. Friendly and approachable, you will enjoy working with a variety of patients of all ages, cultures and backgrounds, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
