Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with the provision of person-centred mental health care aimed at improving consumer outcomes. Maintaining cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the mental health care team, you will implement appropriate care and assist with general and specialised procedures from nursing care plans. You will plan and prioritise your own work program to achieve defined outcomes and exercise judgment when it is required to solve problems arising in your work area. You will provide verbal and documented information within your scope of practice to consumers, other health care team members, and members of the public, and build your professional expertise by undertaking professional development and continuing education through post-enrolment learning.
