About us

Harden-Murrumburrah Health Service is a 33 bed facility with 13 hospital care beds and 20 residential aged care beds. We provide a 24 hour Accident and Emergency Department, which is equipped with telehealth cameras to connect the team in Harden with specialists through the Critical Care Advisory Service.

About the role

If this sounds like a place you’d like to call home, we have opportunities for experienced RNs to join the team and our wonderful residents at Harden- Murrumburrah Health Service.

Our RNs can work across ED, Acute and Aged Care settings and are charged with providing safe, compassionate person centred care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. This is all achieved in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care outcomes for patients, clients and consumers.

What we are looking for:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), with demonstrated evidence to meet the NMBA's Registered Nurse professional standards (code of conduct, code of ethics, guide to professional boundaries, supervision guidelines and standards for practice) commensurate with the position.
  • An ability to demonstrate continuous quality improvement with the ability to: comprehensively conduct assessments; develop a plan for nursing practice; provide safe, appropriate and responsive quality nursing practice; and evaluates outcomes to inform nursing practice.
  • Demonstrated competencies in and/or knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in caring for individuals/patients/clients/consumers for the position.
  • Experience working in a similar sized regional health service
