You will provide coordination and strategic oversight of multidisciplinary client care across the Riverland Mallee Coorong Community Health Services. Working collaboratively with the Regional Community Health Leadership Team and key stakeholders, you will support the development and implementation of efficient, contemporary models of service provision with a focus on disability and brokered services. You will contribute to improvements in the quality, safety and community needs-driven distribution of services within the region, focusing on model of care and workforce development initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring systems and processes are in place for clinical governance and safe quality service provision, and strategically oversee the monitoring and reporting of activity levels, resource allocation, program outputs and review of strategies to ensure compliance with performance standards. You will also assist in the preparation of budgets and negotiating contractual obligations with funding bodies. As a member of the Regional Community Health Leadership Team, you will contribute a program perspective to strategic and business planning for the Riverland Mallee Coorong Community Health Unit.
For appointment at the AHP3 level, you will hold a recognised qualification in an Allied Health profession, and be eligible for membership of the relevant Professional Association. For appointment at the RN/RM3 level, you will be registered as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold a current practicing certificate. With experience working in a community health setting and with community members, you will bring the ability to review and improve models of care to be person and family-centred. Prior experience in management and leadership roles within a multidisciplinary team will be ideal, along with skills in the management of budgets, assets and human resources.
