About us

At Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) we provide a range of public health services to the Riverina and Murray regions of New South Wales. We employ approximately 3,500 staff who work across our 31 facilities and support services, including Base and District Hospitals, Multipurpose services, Mental Health Drug and Alcohol services and Community Health facilities.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Nurse with emergency experience to help our teams by working shifts across Deniliquin, Barham and Hay Health Service.

About the role

Are you a RN who enjoys variety in your day and the chance to work across a range of different clinical settings and facilities? If so, we are currently seeking an experienced RN to work between three of our great regional facilities and become an integral part of three great teams. Accommodation support can be provided.

Our RN roles are varied, challenging and rewarding; providing RN's with a range of nursing experiences within a rural health setting, including aged care, acute and emergency environments.  No two days are ever the same!

We are seeking a great RN with the following:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia
  • Ability to demonstrate continuous quality improvement including: comprehensively conducting assessments; developing a plan for nursing practice; providing safe, appropriate and responsive quality nursing practice and evaluating outcomes to inform nursing practice
  • Ability to think critically and analyses nursing practices with a willingness to provide leadership to ENs and AINs
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team in a rural setting
