Enjoy a stunning change of scenery within this exciting role as part of Port Lincoln Hospital. Port Lincoln is a great location for exploring the countryside and you will have many opportunities for work and play within your role as a Registered Nurse/Midwife in the Renal Dialysis Unit. Working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, you will deliver direct person centred nursing care and individual case management to patients on a shift by shift basis. The primary focus will involve assessing individual patient needs, planning and implementing or coordinating appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines and agencies.

As a participant in a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide health promotion and education, to patients or groups and carers to improve the health outcomes of individual. In addition, you will participate in quality improvement activities that contribute to patient safety, risk minimization and safe work activities within the practice setting.

Registered as a Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. You will have demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice, including knowledge and experience in Renal Dialysis nursing. Able to be resourceful and use initiative within the scope of the position, you will bring the ability to work under minimal supervision, prioritise workload and meet set timelines. A team player, you will enjoy the advantages of a supportive multidisciplinary work environment. Flexible rostering practices are available as part of this part time position.
