The Nursing/Midwifery Director – Women’s and Babies Division will have a key strategic function for the oversight of Safety and Quality across the Division including education, systems and processes, a risk framework and safety and quality plans and projects. The role will work with Level 3 and 4 RN/M clinical and management staff and the broader multidisciplinary team to ensure robust quality and safety systems processes are developed, implemented and evaluated to ensure optimum outcomes for consumers.
The role will be instrumental in working with the Nursing/Midwifery and Medical Divisional Directors and Level 3 Nurses/Midwives to develop and embed a learning, safety and quality culture within the Women’s and Babies Division.
The role will work with Advanced Divisional Midwifery/Nursing Director - Women’s and Babies Division to the provide management and support of nursing/midwifery functions within the Division and with other key stakeholders.
