Clinical Alcohol and other Drugs Coordinator
RN Division One Grade 4 or Social Work Gr 2 Year 1-4 depending on Experience
An opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join the Goulburn Valley Alcohol & Drug Service as a Clinical AOD Coordinator. The Clinical AOD Coordinator is responsible for providing planning, administration monitoring and program coordination support to ensure effective service delivery across the AOD service streams provided by GV Health and its consortium partners Odyssey House and SalvoCare.
The Clinical AOD Coordinator is a senior leadership position that supports the effective functioning of the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of best practice services as well as managing their own caseload.
The Clinical AOD Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating activities including allocation, clinical review, case discussions, wait list management and service stream coordination: providing a range of interventions for individuals, groups and families including children affected by AOD dependency. The Clinical AOD Coordinator will collaborate with a wide range of community referral sources, including state funded programs (internal & external) to ensure timely access and effective referral pathways between services.
