With the opportunity to be a part of and contribute to a growing service at Riverland Country Health Connect, you will provide nursing and/or midwifery services in a variety of health service settings which has been consolidated by experience and/or further study. Primarily, the core focus of your role will be on care coordination, providing clinical nursing within a sub-acute service. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting, you will provide support to the Nursing/Midwifery Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in the leadership of nurses/midwives in the ward/unit/service. This is a brilliant opportunity not to be missed where you will develop skills and knowledge in the clinical area of rehabilitation while engaging consumers and providing education to the community and other health professionals.
Registered as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. With notable post graduate clinical experience, you will have demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice (rehabilitation) in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice. You will have sound knowledge of Quality Improvement Systems as applied to a health care setting, and bring a strong appetite for learning and willingness to continue to develop and consolidate skills. Able to work cohesively within a team environment, you will have proven high level communication and interpersonal skills.
