The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Psychiatric Emergency Nurse Liaison vacancies located in the Emergency Department at Royal Hobart Hospital. Salary:  $86,186 to $90,191 per annum in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service Agreement) 2016 . Period of Employment:  Permanent full-time or part-time shift work (fully rotational), working up to 76 hours per fortnight. The Role:  Working in the role of Clinical Nurse Specialist – Psychiatric Emergency Nurse Liaison you: Work within the Emergency Department (ED), in collaboration with Community Mental Health Services, Inpatient Mental Health Services, Alcohol and Drug Services and a range of community service providers, to deliver improved outcomes for individuals presenting to the ED with mental illness. Are a clinical expert who acts as a clinical resource for Emergency Department (ED) nursing, medical and allied health staff involved in the management of patients with mental health concerns, including those with concurrent alcohol or drug use issues. Support and contribute to the reform directions outlined in the Rethink Mental Health Plan, the Clinical Redesign project and relevant other strategic initiatives.
