This program works in partnership with families and the Department for Child Protection to address child protection risk factors, strengthen family relationships and promote the safety and well-being of children and young people. Working in a multidisciplinary team, the CN will provide timely health assessments and interventions and work to increase family resilience and access to health services to support families to stay together. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include the delivery of: Evidence based child and adult health assessments Health promotion and education In-home and community based interventions Developmental and mental health assessments Pre and post-natal supports Collaborative case planning Referrals and advocacy ABOUT YOU To be considered for this position we are looking for the following: Essential qualifications, skills and experience: Registration or the eligibility to obtain a registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and hold or be eligible to hold a current practising certificate Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) Child Related Employment Clearance or the eligibility to obtain one Valid South Australian Drivers Licence or equivalent Desirable qualifications, skills and experience: Experience in working with vulnerable families with complex needs HOW TO APPLY Please submit a resume and a cover letter outlining how you meet the requirements of this position as outlined in the position description.
