Established in Queensland, Australia (originally as "Queenstate Nursing Service") nurseworldwide has been successfully placing nurses into agency and contract roles the width and breadth of the country since 1986.

All of nurseworldwide's staff are qualified nurses themselves who not only possess a good understanding of the Australian healthcare industry but have also experienced the working conditions first hand. We are geared towards ensuring that we cater for the total needs of all of our nurses and as such run a comprehensive scheme tailored specifically for non-resident visitors which incorporates a range of services and incentives. For example, we are associated with 2 of Australia's largest backpacker organisations and in conjunction with them provide travel vouchers, free internet/email access and other benefits for those here on working holidays.

Holiday Visas
Although holders of working holiday visas are not legally entitled to work for more than 3 months with one hospital they can actually be employed by us for the whole year of their stay and so we provide opportunities for these nurses to move between our client hospitals as they desire thus negating the need for them to join another agency.

Long Term Visas & Sponsorship
For those seeking assistance to stay in Australia for more than 12 months we have a sponsorship scheme (provided free of charge) and can provide a visa for up to 4 years for Registered Nurses and their partners and dependants. In addition we offer various other services such as airport "greet and meet", accommodation, travel, insurance, removals and finance.

Working Options
Work options for nurseworldwide nurses are numerous and varied. Choose between day-to-day casual agency shifts or block bookings of a week or more from our offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or the Gold Coast or alternatively look at accepting a contract position in locations all around Australia. Taking one of these roles gives you the perfect chance to experience life in the outback or a remote coastal town, or you might prefer to commit to one hospital in the city of your choice.

nurseworldwide has an office in London to deal with any general enquiries and applications to save you trying to communicate with someone 12,000 miles away in a different time zone. If you are visiting Australia on a working holiday you can register before travelling so that we can complete your documentation and security clearances in advance to prevent delays when you arrive.
