Calvary has a proud tradition in Tasmania providing acute services ranging from Neurology, Midwifery, Acute Medical/Surgical, Accident & Emergency and Critical Care Services.

Expanding with St Johns

We have entered an exciting time with the recent acquisition of the St Johns hospital, which had enabled Calvary to grow to a 300-bed facility, with over 800 staff. We are able to provide the full Continuum of Care, with the addition of Pediatrics, Palliative/ Oncology services and in-patient and outpatient rehabilitation.

Nursing Division

The Nursing Division is an integral part of the development of our services and seeks nurses willing to take up the challenge to develop professionally in a supportive environment and be part of a dynamic team.

Calvary Health Care Tasmania has three campuses located within 15 minutes of each other and with in the City of Hobart.
